Our Skill Set
The Babin Després Consultants team has over 40 years of experience in the information technology sector. Every member of the team holds a university degree in engineering supplemented by further studies.
We are well-versed in software programming, database application development, data transformation, feature engineering, quality assurance, mathematics and statistics.
On the AI side we have experience with ML, machine-vision, NLP, LLM apps, private deployment of ChatGPT,
Semantic Web, APIs, Webhooks, and integration platforms. We have experience working with PLCs, motors, and sensors.
Our ability to control equipment through code and read data from devices gives us an edge in many IT projects.
We have experience in the manufacturing, aquaculture, government,
museums and archives, gaming, education, online business, information technology, retail, food and beverages, and health sectors.
Although we have done cybersecurity assessments in the past, we now subcontrat cybersecurity assessments to collaborators specializing in this field.
What is Digital Boost 3.0?
Digital Boost 3.0 is a program that aims to drive the adoption of AI, data management, and cybersecurity among businesses.
The program consists of two phases: assessment and implementation:
Phase 1: Assessment
Businesses will work with approved Atlantic Canada-based technology solution providers in three key areas:
- Data Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmaps
- Cybersecurity Risk Assessment, Strategy, and Roadmaps
- AI Readiness Assessments and Potential Use Case Identification
During this phase, businesses will receive up to 75% funding, up to $37,500,
to cover the costs of these assessments, strategies, and roadmaps.
Phase 2 : Implementation
This phase focuses on executing the strategies and roadmaps developed during the assessment phase. Businesses can receive up to 75% funding,
to a maximum of $20,390, to implement eligible projects identified in Phase 1.
Funding Recipient Eligibility Requirements

- Be based in New Brunswick
- Be for-profit with fewer than 800 employees
- Have a digital strategy in place
- Be committed to enhancing tech capabilities
